The World Protests... Read The Times, BBC, and for you right-wingers, Fox News. But hey, who cares about world opinion?

There was quite a rally here (relatively speaking) in Treetown. They closed off downtown streets for a big march which ended up at the University of Michigan Diag. At least a thousand people, more than I could see all at one time. Rally highlights included singing by the Raging Grannies and John Sinclair. Someone had planted white crosses and Stars of David in the grass representing one for each of the more than 500 American soldiers that have died in Iraq so far (mostly after the "end" of the war). I'm drying off now, having stood in the rain for a minute without an umbrella. Posted by: agent1073 at March 20, 2004 3:29 PM |

Even good 'ol midwest columbus, Ohio had quite a protest yesterday. I'll try and put up some pictures sometime soon. People of all ages were there at the state house. Ohio State University professors spoke, as well as some state representatives. Posted by: MicroMan at March 21, 2004 10:09 AM |

I didn't know that a few thousand protesters=the entire world. I'll take a note of it. Posted by: villageidiot at March 22, 2004 12:26 AM |

I guess that's why we vote rather than looking at how many people fill up a television screen. Weird. Posted by: villageidiot at March 22, 2004 12:28 AM |
