Former NOW President...still pro-choice...but says Reagan changed her

Often when I am making political and social arguments, I include articles and references designed to say "see, you're wrong" to the reader. This is not that at all. In fact, this article profoundly moved me, and I felt compelled to share it with all of you in light of some of our recent discussions, and some of the tones we have taken. Not to say "see, you're wrong", but because it made me feel as if I have much to learn as well. I would be very interested to read her book, and that's a first for me saying that about a pro-choice author. You can read a couple of her other columns too. I completely disagree with her on almost everything, but reading her work, I feel a sense of purity. It's truly just her opinion based on the facts, without any politics or hyperbole or personal attack. Everything she says is sensible, plausable, and provable. I have never read anything quite like it.
