Super Freak Rick James is dead at 56, apparently beaten to death by Eddie Murphy and his brother Charlie over mud stains on a new couch.

In other news, Dave Chappelle has been offered "a multimillion-dollar deal at Paramount Pictures to star in an adaptation of the autobiography of Rick James"

Wow, a $50M deal with comedy central. I don't think you'll see him at the Funny Bone in Easton again anytime soon.

I like how he died of 'natural causes'. That just means he wasn't high at the time. He's burning angels with crack-pipes now.

LOL...I had similar thoughts when I heard that "natural causes" BS. Fifety-somethings don't die of "natural causes", unless the deterioration is self-inflicted.

I hope the Chapelle skit doesn't stop just because he's dead. That's funny stuff.
