EA is the Devil

First they overworked their employees. Now they have put a 5 year stranglehold on the football videogame market by striking up a 5 year exclusive contract with the NFL. Sega/ESPN and 989 will not be able to use NFL team names, logos, or players names/likeness for the next 5 years.
I guess EA saw this as their only option when faced with the fact that they have a inferior product with a higher pricetag than their competition.

I agree. EA turns out a bunch of games. They have been known to release games with numerous problems. (Medal of Honor, Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield 1942.)I guess to them its more important getting the game out, than releaseing a genuine good product. They figure they will just fix the game with patches, only after a people buy the game. Posted by: adam m at December 14, 2004 12:02 PM |

That sucks, their sports games suck. Let's hope they don't get the NHL. Of course if that 25% salary reduction goes through, the NHLPA might be desperate. Posted by: polamex at December 14, 2004 5:33 PM |

Oh wait nevermind, it looks like the NHL won't even take that deal... >:-| Posted by: polamex at December 14, 2004 5:35 PM |

Oh yeah...evil EA Sports! Then there's that horribly distasteful slogan: "E-A-Sports. It's in your mom." Posted by: Dude at December 20, 2004 1:13 PM |
