I was just happy that I could hear it at all. The hard rock and roll lifestyle I live hasn't deafened me yet.

There are 2 pitches. I can't hear the super high one unless I point my ear to my laptop speaker up close. But you know NPR played it once and I didn't hear anything.

Sometimes I leave the TV on with no input so I can't see that it is on. Tracy will come in to the room and say, "did you know the TV was on?" She can still hear that high pitched hum TVs make.. I can't. I remember it as a kid though, it would make me nauseus.

I've never heard my TV hum. You know if you're curious, lots of places do hearing tests. What?

BTW one of the diner guys from mulholland dr. is on Monk right now. He's still scary.

That's great. I wouldn't use this as a msg tone though...very annoying. Of course, I find the TV hum annoying too.

I'm 43 and I could hear it clearly. My 67 year old father could not. My dogs will never be the same!!! lol
